Blackheath Art Society, established in 1975, provides a stunning, purpose-built studio for its members who may choose from Life Drawing, Life Painting and Portraiture, Watercolour, Contemporary Colourist and Open Studio groups where all forms are practised.

Members are informed of activities via a quarterly newsletter and our website. These comprise weekend or one-day workshops covering the many different aspects of art practice run by experts in their fields. Three exhibitions - the first at Easter for members only, followed by two open exhibitions in June and October - are held throughout the year.
