Where is Bunginderry? (pronounced Bung-in-derry)
Bunginderry Station is located in far south-west Queensland in the heart of the Channel Country, catchment to Lake Eyre. It borders the Grey Range to the east and the sand dunes to the west. It is an arid environment of outback Australia.

About Bunginderry
Bunginderry is a working sheep and cattle station. It is owned by the Tully family – pioneers of the Quilpie area. Farming practices are not intensive and only brush the original environment lightly. The country is arid and breathtaking in its simple raw beauty. 90,000 hectares (180,000 acres) of varied ecosystems offer a wide range of landscapes, flora, fauna, birds and insects. Think red dirt and wide open skies buzzing with wildlife. Sandstone cliffs and gorges, open Mitchell grass claypans, shady tree-lined channels, rock holes, mesas, sandhills and open gidyea, mulga and boree country – everyday offers variety.

Your Hosts Annabel & Stephen Tully
Contemporary landscape artist, Annabel Tully and 5th generation grazier Stephen Tully are eager to share their beautiful part of the world with you. Stephen shares stories of his pioneering ancestors and all the workings of a sheep and cattle station. Annabel welcomes you to Bunginderry with a big smile and an eagerness to share how she interprets her landscape as a painter & photgrapher. Both Annabel & Stephen are proud supporters of the arts and the sustainability of rural and remote Australia.
