GrampianArts is a not for profit organisation offering two creative workshop programs situated in the majestic Grampians Mountain Range. Grampians Brushes and Grampians Texture strives to provide opportunities for artists and textile artists to extend their skills and showcase their work.

Grampians Brushes and Grampians Texture are both unique opportunities for artists and textile artists to develop their passion of expression in one of Australian’s most beautiful natural environments. Set in Halls Gap in the stunning Grampians National Park, (western Victoria) a myriad of workshops are offered under the inspiring direction of local and national tutors.

Grampians Brushes, September 2011, offers a range of workshops from watercolours, coloured pencils, drawing, print making, life drawing, charcoal, contemporary and traditional work.

And for all those textile fanatics, Grampians Texture, February 2012, offers workshops ranging from felting to printing, stitching to dyeing, jewellery to box making and much much more. Workshops offered are for the weekend (2 days) or four days (Monday – Thursday), or 6 days (Saturday – Thursday) 9.30 am – 4 pm.

All workshops are located in Halls Gap. Come and enjoy the local environment, in addition to the inspiring workshops, have a holiday and a great creative experience. Lunch and morning tea will be provided at all workshops.

A class requirements list will be forwarded to you upon enrolment, some workshops will also have a small materials charge, to cover the cost of consumables provided by your tutor.

There will be lots of opportunities to participate in additional activities, such as special exhibitions, several dinners and more. A full program of activities will be forwarded to enrolled participants. Partners, family and friends are welcome at all evening activities.
