Tours and Tuition
Bill conducts painting trips for small untutored groups - at all levels of expertise- in the Kimberleys and the Pilbara regions in the North West of Western Australia, as well as personal studio tuition.
He has been taking groups to the North-West of WA for many years and has found that Station-owners are really supportive and often permit his groups to work in places not normally accessible in this amazing part of Australia.
Bill is a very busy artist. He is working on Taj Burrow to finish for the Archibald, a major show at Wills Domain Exhibition Space, a Pilbara Trip, a Kimberley Trip, Corsica in September plus regular workshops!
Pilbarra Trip – July 2010
Accommodation is at an abandoned homestead on Yarrie Station, a one million hectare cattle station. This is a rare opportunity not to be missed. This is great painting country. Staying near the De Grey river, there are lots of different locations to paint, and a cook!
Bloke Art
This is a six-week drawing and painting course for blokes. If you are an absolute beginner and have always wanted to get started, or want to improve your skills, this is for you.
BlokeArt has proved to be a huge success. Bill now has 3 groups each week, and his students are getting some great results. There must be a lot of men (and women,) who would like to get hold of the absolute basics of drawing and painting. (Bill also has a large drawing class for women on Thursdays)
